What's OPS?

OPS is simply on-base percentage plus slugging percentage, and it's an excellent shorthand measure of a player's most important offensive skills.

Here is the OPS list of most of the top players in this century. All players from the Baseball Hall of Fame are included with the unfortunate exception of Negro Leaguers. Unfortunately, no solid Negro League Statistics exist for comparison.
